Hello world! My name is LilyO and welcome to my website. My tips today are about how to have a good year every year.
My number one tip is to keep your hands and feet to yourself.
Well, your hands and feet are very special parts of your body, so you shouldn’t hurt anybody with them because they will get hurt and you’ll get hurt and you might get into a fight. That is very bad for you. Sometimes boys at my school have to go to hospital because they didin’t keep their hands and feet to themselves and had a fight.
My number two tip is to use a nice voice when you speak to other people.
Nice voices mean manners, means a nice voice, not yelling and screaming. Yelling and screaming is very bad for your throat I can tell you. And singing is also a way of talking and using your voice. Singing is good to do for you if you like singing. I think singing is good for you because it is fun – actually, make that very fun. Talking, like saying please and thank you, and making nice friends by saying things like “hello, would you like to be my friend” is good.
So, these are my ideas of helping you to have a good year. You can also use other helping tips from other people.
I would love to hear what tips you have for me and the world to have a good year.
Happy New Year!
I love singing too Lily! That always makes me have a good year. (:
Hi Lily, I am an old school friend of your mother. Your words are so comforting to hear from a child your age. I have 3 daughters of my own and a granddaughter called Lily. I have encouraged them to grow with the same words you are putting out to the world. You sound like a wonderful person with a wonderful Mum. Keep up the good work. 🙂 Brian

Hi Lily, Your Mum has a good memmory. High jumping was a big part of my life at school,as other things your Mum might remember. I have coached hundreds of children and adults over the years in athletics and many other sports. My passion over the last 10yrs has been coaching netball. Do you play any sports?
Brian 🙂
I do swimmming and circus. I really love dancing. I do jazz, tap and ballet. My mum calls them bun sports! I also am going to do acrobatics this year. (:
Good morning Lily,Sounds like you are a very fit and active young person. My youngest daughter Claire and I love to dance, she is very good and I just wiggle alot 🙂 Claire and I love hip hop (I spent many hours watching her perform at festivals from the Gold coast to Sunshine coast) Claire is going to be a teacher this year teaching drama or maybe english. She is hoping for drama because she is such a drama queen!!
How did you get into circus sounds interesting? Keep up your bun sports its good for your body.
Brian 🙂
Hi Brian
Well, I was just getting interested into circus at school. There was a lady, Claire, who was running classes before school. (Her name was Claire too like your daughter!). Because I love circus so much, my mum put my into the trapeze at Flipside Circus and lots of other cool tricks. My mummmy used to teach TOO.
Love Lily
Hi Lily
I’m so glad to hear that you don’t sit around like alot of children i know.Good on your Mum for heading you in the right direction.I can image you circling in mid air with a great big smile on your face.I remember your Mum always happy with a big smile, sounds like you take after your Mum in many ways.(woops… don’t hate me for that) your Mum is a great young lady.
Maybe I will see you perform in a live circus someday
Cool Tricks are for all kids!!!!!!
Brian 🙂
Hi Brian
Maybe it could be true because it would be good to see you in the audience some time and I sure think my mum would like that comment about being a great young lady! And I sure do cool tricks. (:
